01 · Citation Check
The case citations in your text, checked live
Legal drafts and AI output are full of citations. Klaracase checks case citations against its corpus and shows you what holds and what does not. It detects § references and marks them not yet verifiable.
Available now for account holders: in the web app, over the API, and as an MCP tool.
Now availableCitation Check
Paste any legal text. Klaracase checks the case citations in it against the corpus, live. § references are detected and marked not yet verifiable. What holds is confirmed. What does not is flagged.
02 · Under the hood
A verification pipeline, not a wrapper.
Klaracase parses each citation, resolves it against the corpus, and returns one of six verdicts. Deterministic matching runs first. Klaracase never guesses.
A verified verdict confirms the decision exists, never that it is still good law.
A not_found result flags a citation for your review, never an accusation of fabrication.
Simplified representation.
Measured: without sources, three AI models cited 168 of 374 case numbers we could not confirm. With our data, 1 of 471.
